Coulter Companies, Inc. of Peoria, Illinois, has acquired, through its wholly‐owned subsidiary, PDC Laboratories, Inc. (PDC Labs), the assets of Prairie Analytical Systems (Prairie Analytical), effective February 1, 2018.
Prairie Analytical, which operates environmental testing facilities located at 1210 Capital Airport Drive in Springfield, Illinois, and 9114 Virginia Road in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, respectively, has served the central and northern Illinois market since 1993, specializing in drinking water, waste water, groundwater and soil testing for private, public and industrial facilities, as well as environmental consulting firms. All of the current employees have received offers to stay on with PDC Labs in their current roles. PDC Labs will utilize the current staff and operate out of the same locations going forward. Jean‐Pierre Rouanet will continue to serve as the Executive Director for the Springfield Facility, and Kristen Potter will serve as the Director of Sales & Marketing for PDC Labs’ Illinois facilities.
